Episode 12: Mindfulness (Part 2) ft Bem

George (aka Bem) joined us on this episode as we wrapped up the conversation on mindfulness. Hearing his perspective was really insightful. He even taught us a new grounding technique that we can easily put into practice and had everyone laughing out loud with his dad jokes.

Imagine how different your life could be if you decided to focus more purposefully on what's going on around you instead of always rushing through everything, never feeling satisfied at the end of it all? This is what we explore on this week's episode so make sure to stick around for the full thing and share with a friend!

A Human Being vs. A Human Doing.

Life is now in session, are you here?

We often get caught up in doing and forgetting to live our own lives—to take time to smell the roses while they're blooming. This episode will make you remember how beautiful life can be when we pay attention to it instead of letting it pass us by unnoticed.

Enjoy the episode and let us know what you think about it! And remember to share it with a friend.

Episode 10: Feelings, Thoughts & Adulting (Men’s Edition)

It was such a joy to host this dynamic trio – Harry, Ken and Mejja for our 10th episode. They shared their thoughts on everything from feelings, thoughts, adulting  and everything else in between.  It was so refreshing to hear how they viewed different aspects of life that we all face. Besides insisting on the idea that hunger is an emotion, 😀 they dropped great nuggets of wisdom: Here are a few highlights:

"The cure for adulthood is playing." Harry

"People who you can call your tribe make being an adult easy." Ken

Enjoy the episode and let us know what you think about it! And remember to share it with a friend.

Episode 9: Safe Spaces decoded in one man’s opinion

Deep and hilarious! Here is another episode where we explore the concept of safe spaces from a man's perspective. Jeff & Mwende had an engrossing chat – you'll laugh, learn, and be challenged. As a guy, Jeff will help you put words into some of the things you've gone through; while as a woman, he guides us on how to understand men. In either case, this episode gives us all ways in which we can be more empathetic toward people around us. Listen, share with a friend who needs it and let us know what you think about this episode.

Episode 8: A male’s experience of safe spaces – Teenager’s edition

This episode may seem out of the norm, but we hope it will offer something refreshingly different. Mwende sat down with three teenagers who opened up about what safe spaces meant to them in light of their own experiences… As you listen, keep in mind how your teenage years may have influenced your perspective on safe spaces–we would love to hear from you!
